Fabregas closer to Milan?
Milan will reportedly meet Chelsea to negotiate a deal for Cesc Fabregas ‘in the next few days’.
According to Sport and Corriere dello Sport, the meeting is the culmination of several phone conversations between the two clubs.
The newspapers write Fabregas is Milan’s ‘No 1 objective’ in January, while the midfielder is ‘ready to reinvent himself in Serie A’.
The Spaniard’s contract also expires at the end of the season, but the Diavolo can only push through a transfer once their UEFA sanctions become known.
Maurizio Sarri has used Fabregas sparingly this season, the 31-year-old making only nine appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.
